HOKAY, THIS IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!

Xas plucks lightly at his own shirt.

"No, truthfully there isn't. The selection, however, I am often more than pleased to leave to others."

"Why?"

"Inherent laziness isn't a good enough answer?"

His lips quirk a bit, at the corners.

"For the most part that, too, is habit. People look askance at a human who never changes clothes."

Thom nods. That makes sense.

Xas is eminently sensible.

"This habit of looking askance is why I wear make-up, as well."

In the interests of being honest.

"That makes them look less askance?"

"Yes."

Xas stands, fetching a washcloth from the bathroom.

It only takes a moment to strip his face bare.

It takes a bit longer for him to unbutton his shirt and wipe the concealer from his torso.

But the bursts of radiance that travel over his marble-pale skin (travel in time with his pulse), explain exactly why the 'less' is very accurate.

Dude.

"You're lucky you're not in a circus."
